“Having sat with this image for a couple of weeks now
I can firmly say that every time I look at it I feel uplifted - it makes me feel as if underneath my day to day dreariness
there's this potential to be the serene, smiling character in the image. The vibrant, rich, exuberant colours really make
me tick and serve as a good personal reminder to steer away from muddy colours as they just drain my energy and lower my psyche.
The way it shows me getting a strong psychic connection to other realms through the use of smoke is quite amazing as I recently
made some incense of my own and was really surprised when that I got a much stronger connection during meditating whilst burning
it! The image is also very evocative of ancient Egypt, a period of history that always fascinated me as a child - full of
mystery - and it makes me feel as if there are parts of me that are still a mystery to me, just waiting to be discovered!”
